Luiz Augusto Toledo Machado

Works in meteorology, with emphasis in remote sensing of the atmosphere, nowcasting, and tropical convection. Has particular interest in observation and modeling of clouds, from shallow-clouds to mesoscale convective systems, and cloud-aerosol interactions. Is member of the Scientific Steering Committee of ATTO, and coordinates the clouds measurements at the Campina-ATTO site.
